How Izella handles data

What this site collects

Almost nothing, and we'd like to keep it that way.

  • No analytics, no trackers, no ad pixels. We don't know who you are when you read this site, and we don't try to find out.
  • No accounts and no cookies for browsing. Reading izella.ai requires nothing from you.
  • Our host (Vercel) keeps standard, short-lived access logs — the same as effectively every website you visit.

The “Ask Izella” assistant

When you ask the assistant a question, here is the entire data path:

  • Your question is answered from Izella's published content only — the same pages you can read on this site. The assistant has no access to customer data, private documents, or anything not already public.
  • Questions are processed by Anthropic's Claude API. Anthropic does not train on this data.
  • We keep a technical receipt of each answer — the question, the model used, which pages were cited, and timing — so we can tell when the assistant answers badly and fix it. Receipts are not tied to your identity; your session is a random token stored in your own browser.
  • Rate limits are enforced by AfterAuth, whose decision records store the same anonymous token, never a name or email.
  • Your conversation history lives in your browser's local storage, not on our servers. Clear it any time.

The product itself

Izella (the product) ingests statements of work, meeting transcripts, and rosters for the programs it monitors. That is sensitive material, and the honest status is:

  • Izella is pre-launch. No customer's real program data is in the system today; the demo runs entirely on synthetic people and public procurement documents.
  • Documents are the source of truth and stay on the operator's infrastructure; extraction results are span-verified against the source so every claim is traceable.
  • Nothing a customer uploads is ever used to train models.
  • We hold no security certifications yet and won't claim otherwise. When a design partner engagement requires a formal compliance program (SOC 2), we'll start it and say so here.
